JOB TITLE: Criminal Fraud Litigation Solicitor
SALARY: £65-95,000 (DOE)
Our client is an established and specialist practice and a leading name in the field of criminal prosecution. They are seeking an experienced and dedicated Criminal Fraud Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE to join the team in central London. You will join a committed and passionate group of legal professionals, who are looking for someone who shares their enthusiasm for the pursuit of justice. You will be responsible for:
• Investigating and preparing prosecution cases, including complex fraudulent and commercial transactions.
• Liaising with clients, managing day-to-day case requirements.
• Handling a diverse range of cases for a variety of clients.
• Drafting instructions to counsel and expert investigators and gathering supporting documents.
• Drafting witness statements.
• Preparing letters and providing advice to clients.
• Drafting summons applications and lay Information at the Magistrates Court.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years’ PQE with a strong academic background (2:1 degree or above). You should be able to demonstrate proven experience in white-collar crime and ideally, a background in corporate and commercial law. The firm expects their Lawyers to have the ability to manage client relations, offering guidance on all aspects of the criminal process, and a solid working knowledge of the Criminal Procedure Rules. They will be looking for experience in prosecuting a range of criminal matters along with a deep understanding of fraud offenses, conspiracies to defraud, and perverting the course of justice.
