Exciting Opportunity for a Corporate Lawyer with our Midlands-Based Client
Are you a skilled Corporate Lawyer seeking a new and dynamic opportunity? Our client, based in the Midlands, is in search of a Corporate Lawyer as the first legal hire. This role offers the chance to play a pivotal role in a prominent national business with a rapidly expanding reach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Agreements and M&A Expertise: You'll be the go-to source for expert legal advice and support in the realm of corporate agreements, which includes mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and various other strategic business transactions.
- Customer Contracts and Business Terms: Your role will encompass drafting, reviewing, and skillfully negotiating customer contracts and business terms to ensure the protection and growth of the organisation.
- Supervision of Legal Activities: You will oversee various legal activities, ensuring they are in line with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration with External Legal Service Providers: Maintain effective communication and collaboration with external legal service providers to optimise legal support for the organisation.
The Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate for this role will have approximately five years of post-qualification experience as a solicitor. This experience can be gained from a reputable law firm or through work as an In-House Counsel within a corporate setting. Key qualifications and attributes include:
- Corporate and Commercial Expertise: You should possess the knowledge and experience needed to provide sound legal support across a spectrum of corporate and commercial matters.
