JOB TITLE:     Investigations Paralegal
LOCATION:     Edinburgh
SALARY:         Market Rate

THE ROLE:
This Regulatory Paralegal Role is exclusively responsible for delivering effective case management that is risk based and proportionate whilst delivering high quality customer service. Should you be successful, you will be trained to handle your own caseload of investigations as a key member of the organisations Investigations team. You will be interviewing witnesses, drafting witness statements, analysing evidence and recommending next steps. The role is based an ongoing locum assignment, anticipated to last for circa 12months. This role offers hybrid working arrangements, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week to be based in office.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate should be an experienced paralegal or case handler with at least 12months of experience of handling their own caseload of matters. You will ideally have knowledge of professional regulators and regulatory processes, however those with experience gained n related areas such as criminal law and civil litigation would also be considered. You should be able to demonstrate strong investigative skills and be accustomed to managing a high work load. You should be a team player and have excellent organisational skills. You must be available for this assignment to commence as soon as possible.
