JOB TITLE: Regulatory Paralegal
LOCATION: West Midlands (+ some home working)
SALARY: £13.80 per hour + holiday pay

THE ROLE:
Providing expert assistance to a busy regulatory team, the successful Regulatory Paralegals will be working alongside permanent team members to process and investigate a wide range of complaints concerning the conduct of professionals within their field. The key duties of this role will be to review the initial compliant, establishing jurisdiction and correct signposting or allocation. This role does include an administrative element however also features a high degree of technical work, offering exceptional exposure for those building their paralegal career.

This role will require office presence 1-2 days per week in the West Midlands, with the remaining days worked from home. IT equipment will be supplied by the client for home working purposes.

THE CANDIDATE:
This role is well suited to an experienced Paralegal or Legal caseworker with at least two years of relevant experience. This experience should include carrying your own caseload of legal matters, taking responsibility for prioritising your workload and meeting set targets. You will be able to demonstrate clear experience in evidence gathering, decision making and stakeholder engagement, in addition to excellent analytical skills. You will be required to pass a DBS check and referencing checks prior to commencing work. You should be available to commence work at a couple of weeks’ notice and will be able to commit to the assignment for at least three months.
