Duty Solicitor, 2+ PQE, Greater Manchester, up to c£48,000 DOE - This established law firm is looking for a Duty Solicitor to join its busy team handling criminal matters across the Greater Manchester area. OVERVIEW:
• This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and hardworking solicitor to be part of a busy and expanding team.
• You will undertake fee earning work for clients in the field of criminal law, to deal with all aspects of criminal work and represent clients both in court and at the police station.
• You will undertake appropriate continuing of education to update and retain your knowledge, on offer is the opportunity to also undertake some regulatory prosecution work.
• Applications are welcomed from Criminal Duty Solicitors with upwards of 2+ years’ experience managing a full caseload of matters.
• The appointed Solicitor must have the flexibility to travel and possess the ability to work within the discipline of office targets, budgets and billing requirements.
• Supervisor status is desired, but not essential.
• You will need excellent management, communication and organisational skills, proficiency in IT and have a polite and patient manner.
