JOB TITLE: Consultant Employment Solicitor

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This Leading Legal 500 employment law specialist firm is seeking senior consultants working in employment law and employment litigation to join their growing team.

The firm works primarily with Senior Executive / C-Suite clients therefore the ideal candidate would have a similar client base although this is not essential. The consultants will be self-employed and pay over a percentage of their earnings on the basis set out below.

The firm was established nearly 10 years ago, is ranked in Legal 500 and has an excellent reputation within its field and the brand is well respected and renowned.

The role of consultant at the firm is one where all administration, case management, compliance and billing support is offered in exchange for as little as 18% of your billings, subject to a minimum monthly charge and a minimum annualised billing of £100,000. Office space in central London is provided and remote/hybrid working is welcomed. Professional indemnity insurance will be provided.

You will have full autonomy in building your practice within the employment law field, and your success will be dependent upon your ability to market yourself, networking and developing business through both new and existing client relationships.

The firm has legal support staff to provide paralegal work on occasion in return for an agreed fee.

Consultants have the freedom to work remotely and use state-of-the-art legal support software to manage casework, billing, hours tracking and document exchange and signature. All documents are held electronically for ease of remote access.

Candidates may be solicitors or barristers with at least 7 years PQE within the employment law field.
