JOB TITLE: Clinical Negligence Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: Newly Qualified Solicitor

THE ROLE:
The successful Clinical Negligence Solicitor will be responsible for providing sound and commercially minded clinical negligence advice to the NHS Resolution and NHS Trusts. You will be responsible for handling a varied and high value caseload of litigated and pre-litigated matters, investigating initial complaints, drafting Letters of Response, undertaking witness investigations, managing litigated cases and conducting mediation. You will become an integral member of a band 1 rated team, with a strong track record for alternative dispute resolution and successful defence cases in the high court and appeal courts. This is an excellent opportunity to undertake a fantastic quality of work with a market leading firm.

THE CANDIDATE:
As an established, ambitious and resilient Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will be motivated to provide an exceptional client service within a highly regarded clinical negligence team. You will be highly proficient handling a broad range of clinical negligence matters, with a track record of excelling in similar challenging and dynamic environments. Displaying strong project management, drafting, and legal analysis skills, you will be both commercially and practically minded, with a desire to help develop NHSR/Insurer and Trust/Insured client relationships. Actively participating in business development, you will assume a proactive role managing the firm’s reputation both in and out of work.
