JOB TITLE:                  In-House Commercial Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED:          3 to 8 years’ PQE
LOCATION:                  Merseyside
SALARY:                      Up to £60,000 DOE
 
THE ROLE:
The appointed Commercial Solicitor will work within the legal services team, providing professional legal advice across a wide range of matters to include; commercial contracts, IT projects, data protection, procurement, research agreements and IP. The successful Solicitor will be expected to proactively and efficiently manage a significant caseload of the aforementioned matters, and provide statistical information regarding such caseload, as appropriate. This role offers scope for a hybrid working arrangement, although office presence for part of each week is required.
 
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Commercial Solicitors who have between 3 and 8 years’ PQE gained in an in-house setting. Significant experience in commercial law and specifically of contract drafting is essential in order to be considered for this role. Commercial Solicitors applying for this position must be able to demonstrate a current, detailed understanding of legal principles of contract, IT and intellectual property law along with excellent drafting, oral and written communication skills.
