JOB TITLE: Construction Solicitor

SALARY: up to c£48,000 (£DOE)

THE ROLE:
The appointed Construction Solicitor will be trusted to provide an effective and efficient legal service to a broad range of clients, the work you will be expected to undertake will be purely non-contentious. A typical day will see the successful Construction Solicitor negotiating and drafting documentation as well as advising clients on a range of matters to include, bonds, warranties, guarantees, copyright and software licensing, escrow services, post-completions defects liability and support arrangements. You will have the opportunity to play an active and key role in the future direction of the firm.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from experienced Construction Solicitors’ who have a proven track record of handling their own busy caseload of matters. Strong commercial awareness is also vital along with a common-sense approach to problem solving. You will have the ability to act independently as well as collaborating with more experience partners and fee-earners on more complex matters when they arise. The ability to adapt to a broad range of situations and circumstances whilst remaining calm under pressure is key to being successful in this role.
