JOB TITLE: Education Solicitor – 8-Month FTC
LOCATION: Buckinghamshire
EXPERIENCE: 3+ PQE
SALARY: up to c£45,000 (£DOE – Pro Rata)

THE ROLE:
This established law firm are looking to appoint an experienced Education Solicitor with upwards of 3 + years’ PQE to provide cover for around 8-months to cover maternity leave. This is an unmissable opportunity for an ambitious Locum Solicitor to support a firm that offer an interesting variety of work, dealing with all aspects of appeals to the SEND Tribunal predominately on behalf of local authorities, but occasionally private matters as well. A typical day will see you drafting responses to appeals, instructing expert witnesses and providing representation before the SEND tribunal. You will also be providing legal advice to maintained schools, academies and independent schools on a range of SEND and Education law matters to include, school admissions, exclusion, parental complaints, discrimination complaints claims and regulatory and policy issues. Commencing ideally in August you will be available to commit to the whole 8-month assignment.
