JOB TITLE: Regulatory Lawyer / Case Manager
PQE: 2+
LOCATION: Berkshire / Home Working
SALARY: Excellent + Benefits

THE ROLE:
This leading firm’s regulatory team is recognised in both Chambers and Legal 500 as a highly regarded team specialising in advising professional regulators. They do that by investigating allegations regarding a professional's fitness to practise. Where there is a case to answer, they prepare the case for hearing and present it before a panel of professionals and lay people who will determine what action, if any, needs to be taken if the allegations are proved. With one of the largest teams in the country, the team comprises solicitors, barristers, CILEX lawyers, paralegals and trainees and is supported by a dedicated professional support lawyer and an experienced administrative team. The team’s clients include regulators in a number of sectors including health and social care, accountancy and education. You will be responsible for assessing the concerns which have been raised and preparing a case plan and then overseeing the investigation of the case by one of the investigators or conduct the investigation yourself. This includes interviewing witnesses and preparing statements.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Regulatory Lawyer will be able to demonstrate experience of regulatory investigations and possess solid relevant technical expertise and intellectual ability. You should have strong analytical skills and excellent client care skills.

THE FIRM:
In return, you will join one of the leading teams in the country offering excellent quality work across a range of professional sectors and genuine career progression opportunities.
