JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 2+
LOCATION: South Yorkshire
SALARY: Up to c£53,000 (£DOE)

THE ROLE:
The successful Employment Solicitor will be responsible for a varied caseload of complex contentious and non-contentious respondent employment matters with possible exposure to some personal injury work. Key duties will include undertaking representation, including advocacy for clients in the tribunals and courts, providing advice on legal issues, responsibility for the conduct of claims and litigation and to contribute to the preparation of a range of written documents/articles. You will be tested on your ability to also deal with miscellaneous matters that may arise, excellent team working skills are imperative to this role. This is an office-based role for 35 hours a week and boasts market leading annual leave entitlement.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are sought from qualified Solicitors with a current practicing certificate and possess a minimum of two years PQE in Employment Law. Ideally, you will have some experience within Claimant Personal Injury, however this is not essential. Your expertise will span both contentious and non-contentious matters and you will thrive in an advisory role. You may have gained previous experience from either a private practice or public sector background, and you will have ideally gained some experience of working on union-related matters. The role is best suited to a natural leader with an interest in embedding and promoting a cohesive and supportive team environment.
