This is a full service commercial firm which is growing fast. They pride themselves on being business lawyers offering long term support to clients. The Corporate & Commercial Department is listed in the Legal 500 for the Thames Valley and is at the heart of the firm’s ambitious growth plans having achieved double percentage growth over the last 8 years. As a result of their success they are looking to expand this department and currently recruiting for two full time corporate solicitors. The successful candidates can expect to be working for household brand names and owner managed businesses alike on a wide range of corporate matters. The first role will be actively involved in company and business sales and purchases particularly in the financial services sector, business ownership matters and insolvency matters. The second role will be actively involved in company and business sales and purchases, restructuring and banking & finance matters. The roles would suit candidates with rounded academic qualifications and solid corporate law experience gained at a Legal 500 / Chambers ranked firm or as part of an equivalent in house legal team. It’s likely that the candidates will be an NQ or up to 4 years relevant PQE, but the firm would be happy to consider applications from all candidates who can demonstrate the skills needed to perform the role.
