JOB TITLE: Court of Protection Solicitor
PQE: 5+
LOCATION: Hertfordshire
SALARY: £50,000 - £60,000

THE ROLE:
A fiercely sought-after position has become available for a talented Court of Protection Solicitor to join this firms well established Court of Protection department. The successful Solicitor will be tasked with handling their own caseload of matters, offering advice to patients and families of patients who lack capacity to make decisions on such as their general care, residence and medical treatment. You will be working within a highly specialised team that are being fully committed to being leaders in their field alongside delivering a compassionate service to clients. The appointed Court of Protection Solicitor will be responsible for assisting and the supervision of junior Solicitors in the team.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from talented Court of Protection Solicitors with upwards of 5+ years’ experience in this area of law. The ability to develop strong relationships with a broad range of clients, often under difficult circumstances, is a key skill for this role. You should possess sound judgement and the ability to act in the best interests of your vulnerable clients. Compassion and empathy are essential requirements. Furthermore, it is essential that the appointed Solicitor is a member of the Court of Protection panel.
