JOB TITLE: Head of Regional Office
PQE: 8+ Years PQE
LOCATION: West Midlands
SALARY: £60,000 - £75,000 (Dependant on experience)

THE ROLE:
This is a unique and interesting role in the ever changing world of criminal law. This well respected and well thought of law firm are looking to appoint a New Regional Head of their Midlands office. You must have come from a criminal law background as it is essential you understand the day to day running of a crimnal legal practice and throughout the course of your career you will have gained duty and higher rights status. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the overall management and running of the practice but will also begin to implement a growth strategy to take the firm into its next phase of growth. The role will be challenging but you will be supported by a Senior Management team in the other offices and will be given all the necessary resource to help you.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Regional Head of office will have been a Criminal Solicitor in their career and will have a proven track record in a wide range of criminal matters and be confident attending police stations and representing clients at Court. It is essential that you have achieved Duty Status and understand the nuances involved in the running of this scheme. You will be experienced in criminal defence matters, and be looking to excel with a well-established Legal 500 firm. You will be passionate about this sector and motivated to provide practical and high quality client service to all legal aid and private clients. You will ideally have some experience of managing and running teams and will be able to understand the processes of management accounting. Ideally you may also have gained some exposure to compliance matters within your career.

The firm is ranked in Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 and is well thought of for looking after their employees. SALARY & BENEFITS:
On offer is an excellent starting salary along with all the benefits you would typically expect of a national law firm, also on offer is a bonus related to the profitability of the practice. Due to the nature of the role you will be expected to travel between the regional offices and you will be reimbursed for this.
