THE ROLE:
This well-established firm are forward thinking with a strong presence within the region, they have an exciting opportunity for a confident and hardworking Solicitor to be part of their expanding criminal team. The appointed Criminal Solicitor will undertake fee earning work for clients in the field of criminal law and deal with all aspects of criminal work, including the representation of clients at the police station. You will work in accordance with the office manual and always promote the firm in all areas, by always acting in an appropriate way as a member of the legal profession by complying with all professional requirements set by the Law Society. To promote the increase of the work flow for the Criminal Solicitor and the wider department through reputation and personal contacts. You should have a sound knowledge of criminal law and be able to undertake appropriate research to update and retain that knowledge. Training and development is available to reach Duty Status and Higher Rights.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are sought-after from newly qualified Criminal Solicitors that are Police Station accredited. The successful Solicitor will manage their own criminal caseload. You will need excellent time management, communication and organisational skills, proficiency in IT and have a polite and patient manner.
