JOB TITLE: Child Care Solicitor
PQE: 3+
LOCATION: Midlands (Remote working)
HOURLY RATE: £30 - £40 (Outside IR35)

THE ROLE:
Looking for a change? This exciting new opportunity has become available for an experienced Child Care Solicitor to join this Local Authority to handle a busy caseload of Child Protection Matters. The successful Locum will be responsible for the drafting of any documentation including, briefs, court documentation, full attendance notes and statements of evidence. Experience in areas such as Children Act 1989 and the FPC, Safeguarding, negligence, EL/PL, Human Rights, data protection and vicarious liability would be highly advantageous.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors who will have gained a minimum of 3 years’ PQE within the social care law sector and you will ideally have gained exposure to a number of areas of law such as child welfare, court of protection and human rights issues. To be successful in this role your ability to deal with sensitive situations and difficult clients in a professional, confidential manner.
