JOB TITLE: Planning Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 2 – 4 PQE
LOCATION: Birmingham
SALARY: £50,000 - £60,000

THE ROLE:
As a highly skilled and ambitious Planning Solicitor, you will be motivated to excel within a top tier planning team, providing focused, clear and commercial solutions across an exciting and varied caseload. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of planning services, from drafting of infrastructure agreements to the implementation of intricate and challenging mixed use schemes. The role requires high level provision of strategic planning advice, knowledge of mixed-use schemes and an understanding of the NPPF. You will gain exposure to a wide and varied client base, including social housing bodies, banks and retail and leisure operators. The Planning team have advised major national institutions on legal matters, such as English Heritage, Larkfleet Ltd and Grangier PLC.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will be a driven, determined and ambitious solicitor with a desire to advance your career with a top tier Planning team. You will be experienced with a range of planning matters, and be confident working closely with partners and high value clients. You will be motivated to strengthen and develop new client relationships, and take an active role in promoting the firm’s reputation both in and out of work. With excellent case management and interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to provide clear, concise and commercially minded solutions to a varied range of clients.
