SALARY: up to c£45,000 DOE

THE ROLE:
An exciting new opportunity for a Court of Protection Solicitor has become available to join this firm’s acclaimed Court of Protection department. This firm’s department has an excellent reputation in the market and continue to experience significant success and growth. The appointed Solicitor will be working on mostly welfare and S21A cases therefore it is essential that applicants have a proven track record of not only managing their own caseload but also effectively leading a team. Although the postholder will be dealing with predominantly welfare and S21A cases, wider Court of Protection experience would be beneficial for this role.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are sought from qualified Solicitors who have at least 4 years’ PQE handling complex Court of Protection cases. It is essential that candidates wishing to be considered for this role can demonstrate knowledge of legal aid funding. Previous experience of managing a team is desirable and applicants must have sound commercial acumen in order to be considered. Furthermore, it is ideal that the Court of Protection Solicitor holds ALR status. You will need great communication skills and will be able to engage confidently with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
