JOB TITLE: Family Lawyer

SALARY: up to £40,000 DOE

THE ROLE:
Looking for a change? Our client has an exceptional opportunity available for a talented Family Lawyer to join their Private Family team. The successful Family Lawyer will be expected to manage a varied case load of matters, to include but not limited to, divorce, pre-nuptial and marital agreements, cohabitations, financial matters, private law children and injunction applications. The appointed Family Lawyer will be responsible for handling their own broad caseload of Family matters and will be dedicated to providing helpful support and well-informed advice efficiently whilst being sympathetic and approachable. You will have the opportunity to play an active and key role in the future direction of the firm, and in the development and growth of the Family department.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors or Legal Executives who will either be new qualified or have up to 2+ years PQE. You will have a self-starting approach to tasks and projects, with the ability to work on your own initiative. The applicant must be committed to understanding client’s requirements to provide accurate and effective advice, whilst being motivated to provide the best level of service to our client. The successful candidate will have a basic knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules, for the purposes of identifying issues in respect of TOLATA and will be able to act confidently on behalf of clients.
