The firm acts for a wide range of household names and international clients in sectors including food, manufacturing, insurance, advertising, retail and professional services. They also have a strong regional client base, especially in the entrepreneurial manufacturing and technology sectors and work increasingly closely with other practice areas in the firm in providing coordinated advice. This is a unique opportunity for the right solicitor to join a well-established team at a firm who will support your personal development and nurture your talent.

OVERVIEW:
• A minimum of 2-4 years PQE with a background in a quality advisory role
• Solid business immigration experience, centred on Points Based System applications for Corporate clients, covering
sponsored and entrepreneurial applications and dealing with in-house legal and HR departments
• Experience running own business immigration caseload
• Confident and able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to manage and develop junior fee-earning staff in working towards their personal targets
• Assist senior lawyers with complex cases
• Ensure all new instructions are appropriately scoped and priced to achieve target gross margin
• Raise invoices on completion of the matter.
• Contribute to the development of the team business plan and take ownership for the delivery of assigned activities
• Ensure the retention of major clients through excellent client, management and service delivery
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of client briefings and training, and client update materials, on topical
immigration issues and challenges
