OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
One of the leading practices in East Anglia is currently looking to recruit a specialist Data Protection Solicitor to advise clients on a broad range of information law matters. You will be required to deal with enquires and issues relating to privacy and data protection policies, advising on use of personal data for marketing purposes as well as dealing with data protection aspects of corporate transactional work. This is an exceptional opportunity for the successful Data Protection Solicitor to really carve out a niche in this area, working alongside a leader in this field.

REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will be either a Solicitor or Associate with experience advising on data protection and information law. It is essential that the appointed Data Protection Solicitor is able to hit the ground running and, to some extent, work fairly independently. Ideal Data Protection Lawyers will have at least 3 years PQE in managing their own caseload of matters on behalf of a variety of clients across a range of sectors including technology, healthcare and the public sector to name but a few.
