JOB TITLE: Locum Regulatory Lawyer
LOCATION: London/Remote working
SALARY: Circa £23-£28 per hour
EXPERIENCE: 2+ PQE

THE ROLE:
This role is well suited to an experienced Regulatory Lawyer with at least two years of relevant experience in handling and progressing fitness to practice investigations. This experience should include carrying your own caseload off fitness to practice cases, taking responsibility for prioritising your workload and meeting set targets. This role can be completed entirely remotely unless the locum prefers to work from the office. The successful Regulatory Lawyer will be working within the case progression team of this highly respected regulatory body, handling some of the most complex cases within the organisation. This will include making decisions on triage cases and progressing cases from investigation to hearing. This role is available to commence immediately and is likely to last for 3 – 4 months.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Filex and will be able to demonstrate clear experience in case investigation (to include evidence gathering, decision making and stakeholder engagement) in addition to excellent analytical skills. The perfect candidate will have previous investigation work from a similar previous role spanning at least 2 years. To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent written and verbal communication, you will be a real self-starter and will be able to hit the ground running. You should be available to commence work at a couple of weeks’ notices and will be able to commit to the assignment for at least three months.
