JOB TITLE: Construction Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 5+ years
LOCATION: Lincolnshire (Commutable from: Lincoln, Peterborough, Spalding, Stamford)

THE ROLE:
An opportunity has arisen within this reputable regional law firm that is looking for a Construction Solicitor to join its team in Lincolnshire to handle a varied caseload of construction matters on behalf of a range of clients including developers, commercial occupiers, funders, education establishments and building contractors. The successful Construction Solicitor will be responsible for both contentious and non-contentious matters with a particular focus on contentious related matters. The role of Construction Solicitor will also involve attracting new work, raising the profile of the department as well as ensuring targets are met. This is a key opportunity for a Construction Solicitor to work on some of the most prestigious developments in the region.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of dealing with a range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters. The successful Construction Solicitor will be well versed in all aspects on construction with a particular focus on contentious files and standard form contracts including JCT, NEC and PPC matters. The appointed Construction Solicitor is likely already working in a similar regional or national law firm. Innovative in your approach to business development and marketing, you will be keen to make your mark.
