JOB TITLE: Duty Solicitor/Higher Rights Advocate
PQE: 3+ PQE
LOCATION: Bedfordshire
SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

THE ROLE:
An experienced Duty Solicitor/Higher Rights Advocate is sought after to join this long-established firm to manage their own criminal caseload. You will undertake fee earning work for clients in the field of Criminal Law and deal with all aspects of criminal work, representing clients at the police station. You will work in accordance with the office manual and promote the firm in all areas at all times. The successful candidate will promote the increase of the work inflow for themselves and others through reputation and personal contacts.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcome from Duty Solicitors or Higher Rights advocates who will have gained a minimum of 3 years’ experience within Criminal Law. You will need excellent time management, communication and organisational skills, proficiency in IT and have a polite and patient manner. Act in an appropriate way at all times as a member of the legal profession and to comply with all professional requirements as set by the Law Society.
