Your caseload will have a strong focus on health, safety and environmental regulatory work, however there will be the option to work on some other cases, for example white-collar crime and GDPR regulatory matters if desired. Ideally you will have at least two years PQE. Impeccable litigation skills are a must, as is an aptitude for building strong and fruitful working relationships with both clients and colleagues. The current team advise and act for a wide range of regulators however do have a particular specialism within healthcare regulation. You will be responsible for your own busy caseload of fitness to practise cases which, although challenging, will stand you in good stead for a successful career within this area of law. The successful Regulatory Solicitor will be expected to manage the day to day conduct of all allocated matters in a timely matter. Under the supervision of a Partner, you will prepare advice on evidential issues, communicate with witnesses, instruct medical experts and attend conferences with Counsel among many other duties as part of this role. It would be advantageous to the successful solicitor if you were to have, more specifically, healthcare regulatory experience. It is important to this firm that the Regulatory Solicitor is a team player, has excellent communication skills and is eager to contribute to the success of the current team. Candidates must be ambitious and committed to making this role a success. The firm acts for both private and public sector clients and this role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Solicitor to join a growing Top 100 firm.
