FAMILY PARALEGAL:
Your key responsibilities will be as follows, produce accurate detailed work to ensure excellence in legal services, maintain files and ensure efficient case management of care matters, draft any documentation in accordance with efficient file management including correspondence, briefs, court documentation, full attendance notes and statements of evidence, time record in accordance with the Firm's policy and prepare bills as necessary, attend to clients at court with counsel, undertake work necessary to build up maintain and manage a caseload, undertake any reasonable instructions made by Directors, Department Heads or Fee Earners within the limits of the job description and attend department meetings as required. Knowledge and experience will include, at least one years' experience working within a Family Department as a Paralegal, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Outlook and good keyboard skills, the ability to work within quality and case management systems, have a dynamic in approach and uses initiative when dealing with clients or potential clients, a team player and flexible in approach, ability to deal with sensitive situations and difficult clients in a professional, confidential manner, knowledge of the legal process to understand the work being undertaken, experience of public funding procedures preferred.
