JOB TITLE: Commercial Litigator
PQE: 1+ years' experience
LOCATION: Lincolnshire
SALARY: up to £30,000 DOE

THE ROLE: A new exciting role has arisen to join a well-respected law firm within a rapidly growing team. Our client is looking for a Commercial Litigator to assist lawyers with their caseload. The Commercial Litigator will have the ability to run cases from beginning to end with minimal supervision. Daily tasks will include however not be limited to:

• Letters of Claim
• Particulars of Claim
• Court Forms
• Correspondence with clients and the other side
• Management of litigation including:
• Ensuring court deadlines are complied with
• Preparing disclosure and trial bundles
• Instructing and liaising with counsel
• Preparing costs budgets, draft orders and case summaries

THE CANDIDATE: The successful Commercial Litigator will have a minimum of 1 years' experience as a Commercial Litigator, an outstanding understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and excellent written and oral communication skills. In addition, you will have exceptional drafting skills and be motivated and capable of working independently. The ideal Litigator will have some experience or knowledge of Japanese Knotweed cases (professional negligence, misrepresentation).
