JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor/Legal Executive – 3 month FTC

SALARY: £29,000 - £35,000 DOE

THE ROLE:
Due to increased workload in the team, this legal 500 firm are urgently seeking 2 experienced and highly skilled Legal Advisors to join their team of dedicated professionals working remotely to provide a range of general legal advice to Trade Unions. Requiring an immediate start and initially on a fixed term contract for 3 months, you will have the opportunity to specifically advise and where necessary, sign off Settlement Agreements.
With a passion for blending your technical expertise with your outstanding communication and client care skills, you will take pride in delivering a first class service to the clients. THE CANDIDATE:
As an admitted solicitor/legal executive, you will be assessing and advising on settlement agreements and identifying any issues which may arise according to the needs of each client. Contacting union officials and members will form a large part of this role and will include development and promotion of this service.
You will therefore need to have excellent knowledge of employment law advice and settlement agreements in particular. The role requires excellent prioritisation skills and meticulous attention to detail to enable you to construct clear and effective arguments, yielding the best result for the clients. You will need to show empathy and understanding, providing a professional legal service with a personal touch.
