JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 2+
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a top tier employment department which helps its clients to manage their employment issues with confidence. With scope to rapidly progress, as a member of the employment team, you will deal with high-quality work for a wide range of clients, working on behalf of both employee and employer. The role will involve working on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including advising on but not limited to restructuring, TUPE and its application to outsourcing, senior employee exits, mandates in relation to discrimination, equal pay, whistle blowing, unfair dismissal, disciplinary and grievance issues. This highly regarded practice covers all aspects of employment law, providing commercially focused, timely responses and pragmatic, cost-effective solutions.
In order to be successful for this position you will have an excellent academic record and will be 2+ years PQE. NQs will also be considered for this role, providing there is evidence of relevant experience and exceptional understanding of employment matters. The ideal candidate must possess a strong pro-active work ethic, with a self-motivated approach coupled with exceptional client handling skills, the ability to work well under pressure and a passion to succeed within a highly successful working environment.
