JOB TITLE: Development Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 4+

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading housing and regeneration department. The need has arisen for a non-contentious Development Lawyer to join the team. The successful applicant will undertake a wide range of high quality and complex development work alongside the firm's planning and construction teams for both public sector and independent sector housing and care clients. The role will involve responsibility for your own caseload as well as working closely with the Partners and Solicitors of the housing teams on business development opportunities.
The successful Development Solicitor will be commercially minded and someone that can work very closely with clients, provide first class practical advice and who is technically proficient in housing development work. Prior experience in social housing development will be an advantage but NOT essential. The development experience and involvement in previous development projects is what is most important! A genuine interest in growing business from existing clients as well as targeting and attracting new clients is also vital for this role.
