In today's technological age companies are always looking to make cost savings by streamlining, computerising or using portals rather than recruitment agencies. Many of the FTSE100 companies are now favouring the use of portals or web based recruitment tools.
What these tools do is look at the data on CV's cross reference them against the job parameters and either approve or reject candidates without ever seeing or talking to them. Interestingly the people on the list below would all probably fail to reach the interview stage as they would already have been rejected as they all dropped out of school
LARRY ELLISON - FOUNDER OF ORACLE
PAUL ALLEN (MICROSOFT CO-FOUNDER)
MICHAEL DELL (Founder of Dell Corporation)
DAVID GEFFEN (Founder of Asylum records, Hollywoods richest man)
SHAWN FANNING (Founded Napster)
Good recruiters add value by spotting what isn't in the CV personality, flair, drive, ambition. and that's why we will always be better
