eNL has made a pledge to raise £15,000 for the Prince’s Trust during the next three years.

The Prince’s Trust is a youth charity that helps to change the lives of young people. It offers financial and practical support as well as helping young people to develop key workplace skills, something which eNL believes is of real importance. Approximately one in five young people in the UK are not in work, education or training and this alarming statistic is something that the Trust is aiming to address.

The Prince’s Trust works with 14 to 30-year-olds who have struggled academically, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. Since 1976 the Trust has helped more than 600,000 young people.

eNL began the fundraising activities in December by braving the cold and selling mince pies on the streets of the business district, which raised £300. This month the team were out on Colmore Row offering passers by Easter eggs in exchange for donations to the Trust, which raised £200.

As summer approaches eNL will be getting physical, taking part in a sponsored fun run in Knowle on 16 May, followed by an adrenaline filled skydive later in the year.
