At the end of  2010 the Princes Trust celebrated their 20th anniversary of the Team Programme which provides young people with skills, increased confidence and motivation to support them in work, education and training.

1990 – the year the Team Programme was launched by HRH The Prince of Wales.

10,000 – team courses and community projects have been completed across the UK.

130,000 – young people have been on the Team Programme to date.

16 million – hours of volunteering work have been contributed by young people in their local communities.

£70 million – is how much the volunteering, to date, is estimated to be worth to society.

eNL is committed to the aims and values of The Prince’s Trust and as such eNL’s Managing Director, Rebecca Banks is a business mentor for the Trust and has recently been invited to become a Panel & Business Launch member. Having accepted the position Rebecca will be instrumental in reaching decisions made for the awards programmes which gives young people grants and one-to-one support to enhance their employability and life skills as well as community cash awards to help young people set up their own community projects. Furthermore development awards to support young people to access education, training or work. The panel provides an independent assessment of applications, which forms the basis of the final decision authorised by The Prince’s Trust.
