CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE SOLICITOR - NOTTINGHAM

One of the Midlands largest and most successful law firms with national recognition are looking for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their team in Nottingham. This Legal 500 listed firm prides itself on their long-term partnerships that have been created with clients in the commercial, insurance and public sectors. You will be working with over twenty dedicated experts within clinical negligence and the team are one of the largest clinical negligence teams in the country. You will be expected to provide patient-related health law advice and services to a range of clinical negligence clients and in particular acting for the NHS. You will manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims/actions, often at a multi million pound level, together with related health sector advice including inquest work. You will be responsible for delegation and supervision of tasks to more junior lawyers where appropriate. You will also be expected to undertake marketing activities, including the planning and delivery of relevant seminar and training programmes. You will represent NHS Trusts, insurers of private healthcare providers, private health care organisations and regulatory bodies. You will act for a range of health sector clients including acute hospitals, mental health trusts, community health trusts and ambulance trusts. The successful candidate  must posses a strong academic background and be experienced in clinical negligence law. Ideally you will have a background in defendant law and will have a minimum of 2 years experience.
